^{48 Ref} And I lift up my hands unto Thy commands, That I have loved, And I do meditate on Thy statutes!

^{49 Ref} `Zain.' Remember the word to Thy servant, On which Thou hast caused me to hope.

^{50 Ref} This `is' my comfort in mine affliction, That Thy saying hath quickened me.

^{51 Ref} The proud have utterly scorned me, From Thy law I have not turned aside.

^{52 Ref} I remembered Thy judgments of old, O Jehovah, And I comfort myself.

^{53 Ref} Horror hath seized me, Because of the wicked forsaking Thy law.

^{51 Ref} The arrogant mock me excessively, But I don't swerve from your law.

^{52 Ref} I remember your ordinances of old, Yahweh, And have comforted myself.

^{53 Ref} Indignation has taken hold on me, Because of the wicked who forsake your law.
