Revelation 3

Young's Literal Translation (YLT)

15 Ref I have known thy works, that neither cold art thou nor hot; I would thou wert cold or hot.

16 Ref So -- because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I am about to vomit thee out of my mouth;

17 Ref because thou sayest -- I am rich, and have grown rich, and have need of nothing, and hast not known that thou art the wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked,

King James Version (KJV)

15 Ref I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.

16 Ref So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

17 Ref Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

Bible in Basic English (BBE)

15 Ref I have knowledge of your works, that you are not cold or warm: it would be better if you were cold or warm.

16 Ref So because you are not one thing or the other, I will have no more to do with you.

17 Ref For you say, I have wealth, and have got together goods and land, and have need of nothing; and you are not conscious of your sad and unhappy condition, that you are poor and blind and without clothing.
