Mark 14

Young's Literal Translation (YLT)

18 Ref and as they are reclining, and eating, Jesus said, `Verily I say to you -- one of you, who is eating with me -- shall deliver me up.'

19 Ref And they began to be sorrowful, and to say to him, one by one, `Is it I?' and another, `Is it I?'

20 Ref And he answering said to them, `One of the twelve who is dipping with me in the dish;

21 Ref the Son of Man doth indeed go, as it hath been written concerning him, but wo to that man through whom the Son of Man is delivered up; good were it to him if that man had not been born.'

22 Ref And as they are eating, Jesus having taken bread, having blessed, brake, and gave to them, and said, `Take, eat; this is my body.'

World English Bible (WEB)

18 Ref As they sat and were eating, Jesus said, "Most assuredly I tell you, one of you will betray me -- he who eats with me."

19 Ref They began to be sorrowful, and to ask him one by one, "Surely not I?" And another said, "Surely not I?"

20 Ref He answered them, "It is one of the twelve, he who dips with me in the dish.

21 Ref For the Son of Man goes, even as it is written about him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would be better for that man if he had not been born."

22 Ref As they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had blessed, he broke it, and gave to them, and said, "Take, eat. This is my body."

Bible in Basic English (BBE)

18 Ref And while they were seated taking food, Jesus said, Truly I say to you, One of you will be false to me, one who is taking food with me.

19 Ref They were sad, and said to him one by one, Is it I?

20 Ref And he said to them, It is one of the twelve, one who is putting his bread with me into the same plate.

21 Ref The Son of man goes, even as the Writings say of him: but cursed is that man through whom the Son of man is given up! It would have been well for that man if he had never been given birth.

22 Ref And while they were taking food, he took bread, and after blessing it, he gave the broken bread to them, and said, Take it: this is my body.
