1 Peter 3:7

16 She considereth a field, and buyeth it; With the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard.

17 She girdeth her loins with strength, And maketh strong her arms.

18 She perceiveth that her merchandise is profitable: Her lamp goeth not out by night.

19 She layeth her hands to the distaff, And her hands hold the spindle.

20 She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; Yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy.

21 She is not afraid of the snow for her household; For all her household are clothed with scarlet.

1 Timothy 2:9

9 In like manner, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefastness and sobriety; not with braided hair, and gold or pearls or costly raiment;

1 Timothy 3:11

11 Women in like manner `must be' grave, not slanderers, temperate, faithful in all things.

1 Peter 3:1-7

1 In like manner, ye wives, `be' in subjection to your won husbands; that, even if any obey not the word, they may without the word be gained by the behavior of their wives;

2 beholding your chaste behavior `coupled' with fear.

3 Whose `adorning' let it not be the outward adorning of braiding the hair, and of wearing jewels of gold, or of putting on apparel;

4 but `let it be' the hidden man of the heart, in the incorruptible `apparel' of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.

5 For after this manner aforetime the holy women also, who hoped in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection to their own husbands:

6 as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose children ye now are, if ye do well, and are not put in fear by any terror.

Ephesians 5:22-25

22 Wives, `be in subjection' unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.

23 For the husband is the head of the wife, and Christ also is the head of the church, `being' himself the saviour of the body.

24 But as the church is subject to Christ, so `let' the wives also `be' to their husbands in everything.

25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself up for it;

Proverbs 14:1

1 Every wise woman buildeth her house; But the foolish plucketh it down with her own hands.

Titus 2:3-6

3 that aged women likewise be reverent in demeanor, not slanderers nor enslaved to much wine, teachers of that which is good;

4 that they may train the young women to love their husbands, to love their children,

5 `to be' sober-minded, chaste, workers at home, kind, being in subjection to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed:
