⁹ For what thanksgiving can we render again unto God for you, for all the joy wherewith we joy for your sakes before our God;

¹⁵ Thanks be to God for his unspeakable gift.

⁷ for this cause, brethren, we were comforted over you in all our distress and affliction through your faith:

⁸ for now we live, if ye stand fast in the Lord.

¹⁹ For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of glorying? Are not even ye, before our Lord Jesus at his coming?

² We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention `of you' in our prayers;

³ remembering without ceasing your work of faith and labor of love and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, before our God and Father;

¹⁴ But thanks be unto God, who always leadeth us in triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest through us the savor of his knowledge in every place.

⁸ Let the floods clap their hands; Let the hills sing for joy together

⁹ Before Jehovah; for he cometh to judge the earth: He will judge the world with righteousness, And the peoples with equity.

¹² Let the field exult, and all that is therein; Then shall all the trees of the wood sing for joy

¹³ Before Jehovah; for he cometh, For he cometh to judge the earth: He will judge the world with righteousness, And the peoples with his truth.

¹⁴ But I will hope continually, And will praise thee yet more and more.

¹⁵ My mouth shall tell of thy righteousness, `And' of thy salvation all the day; For I know not the numbers `thereof'.

³ But let the righteous be glad; let them exult before God: Yea, let them rejoice with gladness.

⁵ Then the Levites, Jeshua, and Kadmiel, Bani, Hashabneiah, Sherebiah, Hodiah, Shebaniah, `and' Pethahiah, said, Stand up and bless Jehovah your God from everlasting to everlasting; and blessed be thy glorious name, which is exalted above all blessing and praise.

¹⁸ Then David the king went in, and sat before Jehovah; and he said, Who am I, O Lord Jehovah, and what is my house, that thou hast brought me thus far?

¹⁹ And this was yet a small thing in thine eyes, O Lord Jehovah; but thou hast spoken also of thy servant's house for a great while to come; and this `too' after the manner of men, O Lord Jehovah!

²⁰ And what can David say more unto thee? for thou knowest thy servant, O Lord Jehovah.

²¹ And David said unto Michal, `It was' before Jehovah, who chose me above thy father, and above all his house, to appoint me prince over the people of Jehovah, over Israel: therefore will I play before Jehovah.

¹¹ and thou shalt rejoice before Jehovah thy God, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy man-servant, and thy maid-servant, and the Levite that is within thy gates, and the sojourner, and the fatherless, and the widow, that are in the midst of thee, in the place which Jehovah thy God shall choose, to cause his name to dwell there.

¹⁸ but thou shalt eat them before Jehovah thy God in the place which Jehovah thy God shall choose, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy man-servant, and thy maid-servant, and the Levite that is within thy gates: and thou shalt rejoice before Jehovah thy God in all that thou puttest thy hand unto.

² Ye shall surely destroy all the places wherein the nations that ye shall dispossess served their gods, upon the high mountains, and upon the hills, and under every green tree:
