² Before the mountains were brought forth, Or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, Even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.

³ Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and will show thee great things, and difficult, which thou knowest not.

³⁵ And he sat down, and called the twelve; and he saith unto them, If any man would be first, he shall be last of all, and servant of all.

⁵ As thou knowest not what is the way of the wind, `nor' how the bones `do grow' in the womb of her that is with child; even so thou knowest not the work of God who doeth all.

²⁹ He that is slow to anger is of great understanding; But he that is hasty of spirit exalteth folly.

⁸ I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will counsel thee with mine eye upon thee.

²⁸ Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard? The everlasting God, Jehovah, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary; there is no searching of his understanding.

³ Great is Jehovah, and greatly to be praised; And his greatness is unsearchable.

²⁸ There can be neither Jew nor Greek, there can be neither bond nor free, there can be no male and female; for ye all are one `man' in Christ Jesus.

²⁹ And if ye are Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, heirs according to promise.

²⁶ And Jesus looking upon `them' said to them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

²¹ There are many devices in a man's heart; But the counsel of Jehovah, that shall stand.

³ For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh

²¹ prove all things; hold fast that which is good;

²² abstain from every form of evil.

²³ And the God of peace himself sanctify you wholly; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved entire, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

¹⁸ while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

⁷ Wisdom `is' the principal thing; `therefore' get wisdom; Yea, with all thy getting get understanding.

³ Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except one be born anew, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

² Every way of a man is right in his own eyes; But Jehovah weigheth the hearts.

⁹ Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! a potsherd among the potsherds of the earth! Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands?

¹³⁰ The opening of thy words giveth light; It giveth understanding unto the simple.

³³ O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and the knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past tracing out!

⁹ For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

¹⁸ But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him `be' the glory both now and for ever. Amen.

¹⁷ that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him;

¹³ Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God; for God cannot be tempted with evil, and he himself tempteth no man:

⁴ For a thousand years in thy sight Are but as yesterday when it is past, And as a watch in the night.
