¹³ But others mocking said, They are filled with new wine.

²³ If therefore the whole church be assembled together and all speak with tongues, and there come in men unlearned or unbelieving, will they not say that ye are mad?

¹⁸ And be not drunken with wine, wherein is riot, but be filled with the Spirit;

¹⁵ For these are not drunken, as ye suppose; seeing it is `but' the third hour of the day.

⁷ And `they of' Ephraim shall be like a mighty man, and their heart shall rejoice as through wine; yea, their children shall see it, and rejoice; their heart shall be glad in Jehovah.

¹⁷ For how great is his goodness, and how great is his beauty! grain shall make the young men flourish, and new wine the virgins.

¹⁵ Jehovah of hosts will defend them; and they shall devour, and shall tread down the sling-stones; and they shall drink, and make a noise as through wine; and they shall be filled like bowls, like the corners of the altar.

⁶ And in this mountain will Jehovah of hosts make unto all peoples a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined.

⁹ And thy mouth like the best wine, That goeth down smoothly for my beloved, Gliding through the lips of those that are asleep.

¹⁹ Behold, my breast is as wine which hath no vent; Like new wine-skins it is ready to burst.

¹⁴ And Eli said unto her, How long wilt thou be drunken? put away thy wine from thee.
