7 Wisdom `is' the principal thing; `therefore' get wisdom; Yea, with all thy getting get understanding.

Ephesians 6:1-5

1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.

2 Honor thy father and mother (which is the first commandment with promise),

3 that it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.

4 And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but nurture them in the chastening and admonition of the Lord.

5 Servants, be obedient unto them that according to the flesh are your masters, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ;

Matthew 15:4

4 For God said, Honor thy father and thy mother: and, He that speaketh evil of father or mother, let him die the death.

1 Timothy 5:4

4 But if any widow hath children or grandchildren, let them learn first to show piety towards their own family, and to requite their parents: for this is acceptable in the sight of God.

6 Train up a child in the way he should go, And even when he is old he will not depart from it.
