¹⁰ And all the peoples of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of Jehovah; and they shall be afraid of thee.

¹⁴ if my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

²⁵ There shall no man be able to stand before you: Jehovah your God shall lay the fear of you and the dread of you upon all the land that ye shall tread upon, as he hath spoken unto you.

²⁷ So shall they put my name upon the children of Israel; and I will bless them.

⁹ Behold, I give of the synagogue of Satan, of them that say they are Jews, and they are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.

¹² And all nations shall call you happy; for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith Jehovah of hosts.

¹⁸ O my God, incline thine ear, and hear; open thine eyes, and behold our desolations, and the city which is called by thy name: for we do not present our supplications before thee for our righteousness, but for thy great mercies' sake.

¹⁹ O Lord, hear; O Lord, forgive; O Lord, hearken and do; defer not, for thine own sake, O my God, because thy city and thy people are called by thy name.

⁹ And `this city' shall be to me for a name of joy, for a praise and for a glory, before all the nations of the earth, which shall hear all the good that I do unto them, and shall fear and tremble for all the good and for all the peace that I procure unto it.

¹⁹ We are become as they over whom thou never barest rule, as they that were not called by thy name.

¹⁷ And the fame of David went out into all lands; and Jehovah brought the fear of him upon all nations.

²⁸ And Saul saw and knew that Jehovah was with David; and Michal, Saul's daughter, loved him.

²⁹ And Saul was yet the more afraid of David; and Saul was David's enemy continually.

¹² And Saul was afraid of David, because Jehovah was with him, and was departed from Saul.

¹³ Therefore Saul removed him from him, and made him his captain over a thousand; and he went out and came in before the people.

¹⁴ And David behaved himself wisely in all his ways; and Jehovah was with him.

¹⁵ And when Saul saw that he behaved himself very wisely, he stood in awe of him.

¹ And it came to pass, when all the kings of the Amorites, that were beyond the Jordan westward, and all the kings of the Canaanites, that were by the sea, heard how that Jehovah had dried up the waters of the Jordan from before the children of Israel, until we were passed over, that their heart melted, neither was there spirit in them any more, because of the children of Israel.

⁶ Keep therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the peoples, that shall hear all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.

⁷ For what great nation is there, that hath a god so nigh unto them, as Jehovah our God is whensoever we call upon him?

⁸ And what great nation is there, that hath statutes and ordinances so righteous as all this law, which I set before you this day?

²⁵ And he took off their chariot wheels, and they drove them heavily; so that the Egyptians said, Let us flee from the face of Israel; for Jehovah fighteth for them against the Egyptians.

³³ And the Egyptians were urgent upon the people, to send them out of the land in haste; for they said, We are all dead men.
