⁶ And we utterly destroyed them, as we did unto Sihon king of Heshbon, utterly destroying every inhabited city, with the women and the little ones.

³⁴ And we took all his cities at that time, and utterly destroyed every inhabited city, with the women and the little ones; we left none remaining:

²⁴ Rise ye up, take your journey, and pass over the valley of the Arnon: behold, I have given into thy hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land; begin to possess it, and contend with him in battle.

¹⁰ Who smote many nations, And slew mighty kings,

¹¹ Sihon king of the Amorites, And Og king of Bashan, And all the kingdoms of Canaan,

¹² And gave their land for a heritage, A heritage unto Israel his people.

²⁸ Notwithstanding, no devoted thing, that a man shall devote unto Jehovah of all that he hath, whether of man or beast, or of the field of his possession, shall be sold or redeemed: every devoted thing is most holy unto Jehovah.

²⁹ No one devoted, that shall be devoted from among men, shall be ransomed; he shall surely be put to death.

² And Israel vowed a vow unto Jehovah, and said, If thou wilt indeed deliver this people into my hand, then I will utterly destroy their cities.

² And Jehovah said unto me, Fear him not; for I have delivered him, and all his people, and his land, into thy hand; and thou shalt do unto him as thou didst unto Sihon king of the Amorites, who dwelt at Heshbon.

¹⁶ But of the cities of these peoples, that Jehovah thy God giveth thee for an inheritance, thou shalt save alive nothing that breatheth;

¹⁷ but thou shalt utterly destroy them: the Hittite, and the Amorite, the Canaanite, and the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite; as Jehovah thy God hath commanded thee;

¹⁸ that they teach you not to do after all their abominations, which they have done unto their gods; so would ye sin against Jehovah your God.

¹⁴ And all the spoil of these cities, and the cattle, the children of Israel took for a prey unto themselves; but every man they smote with the edge of the sword, until they had destroyed them, neither left they any that breathed.

¹⁹ Sihon king of the Amorites; For his lovingkindness `endureth' forever;

²⁰ And Og king of Bashan; For his lovingkindness `endureth' for ever;
