²⁵ And thou, O deadly wounded wicked one, the prince of Israel, whose day is come, in the time of the iniquity of the end,

⁵ Because thou hast had a perpetual enmity, and hast given over the children of Israel to the power of the sword in the time of their calamity, in the time of the iniquity of the end;

²⁹ while they see for thee false visions, while they divine lies unto thee, to lay thee upon the necks of the wicked that are deadly wounded, whose day is come in the time of the iniquity of the end.

¹⁹ Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: As I live, surely mine oath that he hath despised, and my covenant that he hath broken, I will even bring it upon his own head.

² And he did that which was evil in the sight of Jehovah, according to all that Jehoiakim had done.

¹³ And he also rebelled against king Nebuchadnezzar, who had made him swear by God: but he stiffened his neck, and hardened his heart against turning unto Jehovah, the God of Israel.

³ For the day is near, even the day of Jehovah is near; it shall be a day of clouds, a time of the nations.

⁶ An end is come, the end is come; it awaketh against thee; behold, it cometh.

¹³ O thou that dwellest upon many waters, abundant in treasures, thine end is come, the measure of thy covetousness.

⁸ And as the bad figs, which cannot be eaten, they are so bad, surely thus saith Jehovah, So will I give up Zedekiah the king of Judah, and his princes, and the residue of Jerusalem, that remain in this land, and them that dwell in the land of Egypt,

⁵ Thou hast rebuked the nations, thou hast destroyed the wicked; Thou hast blotted out their name for ever and ever.

⁶ The enemy are come to an end, they are desolate for ever; And the cities which thou hast overthrown, The very remembrance of them is perished.

⁹ O let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end, but establish thou the righteous: For the righteous God trieth the minds and hearts.
