¹⁰ unto the children of the east, `to go' against the children of Ammon; and I will give them for a possession, that the children of Ammon may not be remembered among the nations.

³² Thou shalt be for fuel to the fire; thy blood shall be in the midst of the land; thou shalt be no more remembered: for I, Jehovah, have spoken it.

³ Thy take crafty counsel against thy people, And consult together against thy hidden ones.

⁴ They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; That the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.

⁵ For they have consulted together with one consent; Against thee do they make a covenant:

⁶ The tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites; Moab, and the Hagarenes;

¹⁶ Take a harp, go about the city, thou harlot that hast been forgotten; make sweet melody, sing many songs, that thou mayest be remembered.

⁴ therefore, behold, I will deliver thee to the children of the east for a possession, and they shall set their encampments in thee, and make their dwellings in thee; they shall eat thy fruit, and they shall drink thy milk.
