⁶ I will also water with thy blood the land wherein thou swimmest, even to the mountains; and the watercourses shall be full of thee.

³ Their slain also shall be cast out, and the stench of their dead bodies shall come up; and the mountains shall be melted with their blood.

¹⁷ Thus saith Jehovah, In this thou shalt know that I am Jehovah: behold, I will smite with the rod that is in my hand upon the waters which are in the river, and they shall be turned to blood.

⁷ And the wild-oxen shall come down with them, and the bullocks with the bulls: and their land shall be drunken with blood, and their dust made fat with fatness.

²⁰ And the winepress are trodden without the city, and there came out blood from the winepress, even unto the bridles of the horses, as far as a thousand and six hundred furlongs.

⁶ for they poured out the blood of the saints and the prophets, and blood hast thou given them to drink: they are worthy.
