¹⁰ Because thou hast said, These two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will possess it; whereas Jehovah was there:

⁵ therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Surely in the fire of my jealousy have I spoken against the residue of the nations, and against all Edom, that have appointed my land unto themselves for a possession with the joy of all their heart, with despite of soul, to cast it out for a prey.

³⁵ It shall be eighteen thousand `reeds' round about: and the name of the city from that day shall be, Jehovah is there.

¹⁵ Jehovah hath taken away thy judgments, he hath cast out thine enemy: the King of Israel, even Jehovah, is in the midst of thee; thou shalt not fear evil any more.

² Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because the enemy hath said against you, Aha! and, The ancient high places are ours in possession;

⁶ Cry aloud and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion; for great in the midst of thee is the Holy One of Israel.

¹³ For Jehovah hath chosen Zion; He hath desired it for his habitation.

¹⁴ This is my resting-place for ever: Here will I dwell; for I have desired it.

⁴ They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; That the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.

⁵ For they have consulted together with one consent; Against thee do they make a covenant:

⁶ The tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites; Moab, and the Hagarenes;

⁷ Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre:

⁸ Assyria also is joined with them; They have helped the children of Lot. Selah

⁹ Do thou unto them as unto Midian, As to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the river Kishon;

¹⁰ Who perished at Endor, Who became as dung for the earth.

¹¹ Make their nobles like Oreb and Zeeb; Yea, all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna;

¹² Who said, Let us take to ourselves in possession The habitations of God.

¹ Great is Jehovah, and greatly to be praised, In the city of our God, in his holy mountain.

² Beautiful in elevation, the joy of the whole earth, Is mount Zion, `on' the sides of the north, The city of the great King.

³ God hath made himself known in her palaces for a refuge.

⁵ For I, saith Jehovah, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and I will be the glory in the midst of her.

¹³ Enter not into the gate of my people in the day of their calamity; yea, look not thou on their affliction in the day of their calamity, neither lay ye `hands' on their substance in the day of their calamity.

¹ Of the children of Ammon. Thus saith Jehovah: Hath Israel no sons? hath he no heir? why then doth Malcam possess Gad, and his people well in the cities thereof?

⁹ And his rock shall pass away by reason of terror, and his princes shall be dismayed at the ensign, saith Jehovah, whose fire is in Zion, and his furnace in Jerusalem.

¹ In Judah is God known: His name is great in Israel.
