²³ And as for the rest of the tribes: from the east side unto the west side, Benjamin, one `portion'.

²¹ Now the cities of the tribe of the children of Benjamin according to their families were Jericho, and Beth-hoglah, and Emek-keziz,

²² and Beth-arabah, and Zemaraim, and Beth-el,

²³ and Avvim, and Parah, and Ophrah,

²⁴ and Chephar-ammoni, and Ophni, and Geba; twelve cities with their villages:

²⁵ Gibeon, and Ramah, and Beeroth,

²⁶ and Mizpeh, and Chephirah, and Mozah,

²⁷ and Rekem, and Irpeel, and Taralah,

²⁸ and Zelah, Eleph, and the Jebusite (the same is Jerusalem), Gibeath, `and' Kiriath; fourteen cities with their villages. This is the inheritance of the children of Benjamin according to their families.

¹⁶ And they journeyed from Beth-el; and there was still some distance to come to Ephrath: and Rachel travailed, and she had hard labor.

¹⁷ And it came to pass, when she was in hard labor, that the midwife said unto her, Fear not; for now thou shalt have another son.

¹⁸ And it came to pass, as her soul was departing (for she died), that she called his name Ben-oni: but his father called him Benjamin.

¹⁹ And Rachel died, and was buried in the way to Ephrath (the same is Beth-lehem).

¹ Now these are the names of the tribes: From the north end, beside the way of Hethlon to the entrance of Hamath, Hazar-enan at the border of Damascus, northward beside Hamath, (and they shall have their sides east `and' west,) Dan, one `portion'.

² And by the border of Dan, from the east side unto the west side, Asher, one `portion'.

³ And by the border of Asher, from the east side even unto the west side, Naphtali, one `portion'.

⁴ And by the border of Naphtali, from the east side unto the west side, Manasseh, one `portion'.

⁵ And by the border of Manasseh, from the east side unto the west side, Ephraim, one `portion'.

⁶ And by the border of Ephraim, from the east side even unto the west side, Reuben, one `portion'.

⁷ And by the border of Reuben, from the east side unto the west side, Judah, one `portion'.
