⁸ I am Jehovah, that is my name; and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise unto graven images.

¹¹ For mine own sake, for mine own sake, will I do it; for how should `my name' be profaned? and my glory will I not give to another.

³ Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

⁴ Thou shalt not make unto thee a graven image, nor any likeness `of any thing' that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.

⁵ Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them, for I Jehovah thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, upon the third and upon the fourth generation of them that hate me,

¹⁴ And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.

¹⁵ And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, Jehovah, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name forever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.

¹⁴ for thou shalt worship no other god: for Jehovah, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God:

¹¹ I, even I, am Jehovah; and besides me there is no saviour.

⁵ That they may believe that Jehovah, the God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath appeared unto thee.

²³ that all may honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. He that honoreth not the Son honoreth not the Father that sent him.

⁵⁸ Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was born, I am.
