²² He uncovereth deep things out of darkness, And bringeth out to light the shadow of death.

²² he revealeth the deep and secret things; he knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him.

⁵ Wherefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and make manifest the counsels of the hearts; and then shall each man have his praise from God.

⁵ Let darkness and the shadow of death claim it for their own; Let a cloud dwell upon it; Let all that maketh black the day terrify it.

¹⁰ But unto us God revealed `them' through the Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

⁷⁹ To shine upon them that sit in darkness and the shadow of death; To guide our feet into the way of peace.

²⁶ Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.

⁸ `seek him' that maketh the Pleiades and Orion, and turneth the shadow of death into the morning, and maketh the day dark with night; that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth (Jehovah is his name);

¹² Even the darkness hideth not from thee, But the night shineth as the day: The darkness and the light are both alike `to thee'.

²¹ Will not God search this out? For he knoweth the secrets of the heart.

²² There is no darkness, nor thick gloom, Where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves.

²⁰ Whence then cometh wisdom? And where is the place of understanding?

²¹ Seeing it is hid from the eyes of all living, And kept close from the birds of the heavens.

²² Destruction and Death say, We have heard a rumor thereof with our ears.

²³ God understandeth the way thereof, And he knoweth the place thereof.

¹⁷ For the morning is to all of them as thick darkness; For they know the terrors of the thick darkness.

⁶ And that he would show thee the secrets of wisdom! For he is manifold in understanding. Know therefore that God exacteth of thee less than thine iniquity deserveth.

¹² And one of his servants said, Nay, my lord, O king; but Elisha, the prophet that is in Israel, telleth the king of Israel the words that thou speakest in thy bedchamber.
