²⁵ Wilt thou harass a driven leaf? And wilt thou pursue the dry stubble?

³⁶ And as for them that are left of you, I will send a faintness into their heart in the lands of their enemies: and the sound of a driven leaf shall chase them; and they shall flee, as one fleeth from the sword; and they shall fall when none pursueth.

¹⁸ That they are as stubble before the wind, And as chaff that the storm carrieth away?

¹⁴ After whom is the king of Israel come out? after whom dost thou pursue? after a dead dog, after a flea.

³ And dost thou open thine eyes upon such a one, And bringest me into judgment with thee?

¹³ The nations shall rush like the rushing of many waters: but he shall rebuke them, and they shall flee far off, and shall be chased as the chaff of the mountains before the wind, and like the whirling dust before the storm.

²⁰ A bruised reed shall he not break, And smoking flax shall he not quench, Till he send forth judgment unto victory.
