¹⁵ Did not he that made me in the womb make him? And did not one fashion us in the womb?

³¹ He that oppresseth the poor reproacheth his Maker; But he that hath mercy on the needy honoreth him.

¹⁹ That respecteth not the persons of princes, Nor regardeth the rich more than the poor; For they all are the work of his hands.

² The rich and the poor meet together: Jehovah is the maker of them all.

⁵ Yet now our flesh is as the flesh of our brethren, our children as their children: and, lo, we bring into bondage our sons and our daughters to be servants, and some of our daughters are brought into bondage `already': neither is it in our power to help it; for other men have our fields and our vineyards.

³ Is it good unto thee that thou shouldest oppress, That thou shouldest despise the work of thy hands, And shine upon the counsel of the wicked?

⁸ Thy hands have framed me and fashioned me Together round about; yet thou dost destroy me.

⁹ Remember, I beseech thee, that thou hast fashioned me as clay; And wilt thou bring me into dust again?

¹⁰ Hast thou not poured me out as milk, And curdled me like cheese?

¹¹ Thou hast clothed me with skin and flesh, And knit me together with bones and sinews.

¹² Thou hast granted me life and lovingkindness; And thy visitation hath preserved my spirit.

¹⁴ I will give thanks unto thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: Wonderful are thy works; And that my soul knoweth right well.

¹⁵ My frame was not hidden from thee, When I was made in secret, `And' curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.

¹⁶ Thine eyes did see mine unformed substance; And in thy book they were all written, `Even' the days that were ordained `for me', When as yet there was none of them.

⁷ Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh?

¹⁰ Have we not all one father? hath not one God created us? why do we deal treacherously every man against his brother, profaning the covenant of our fathers?
