⁷ He withdraweth not his eyes from the righteous: But with kings upon the throne He setteth them for ever, and they are exalted.

¹⁸ Behold, the eye of Jehovah is upon them that fear him, Upon them that hope in his lovingkindness;

¹⁵ The eyes of Jehovah are toward the righteous, And his ears are `open' unto their cry.

⁷ He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, And lifteth up the needy from the dunghill;

⁸ That he may set him with princes, Even with the princes of his people.

¹² For the eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, And his ears unto their supplication: But the face of the Lord is upon them that do evil.

³ But the Lord is faithful, who shall establish you, and guard you from the evil `one'.

¹⁷ Jehovah thy God is in the midst of thee, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love; he will joy over thee with singing.

⁸ He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, He lifteth up the needy from the dunghill, To make them sit with princes, And inherit the throne of glory: For the pillars of the earth are Jehovah's, And he hath set the world upon them.

⁷ He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: His heart is fixed, trusting in Jehovah.

⁸ His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, Until he see `his desire' upon his adversaries.

⁹ He hath dispersed, he hath given to the needy; His righteousness endureth for ever: His horn shall be exalted with honor.

¹⁰ The wicked shall see it, and be grieved; He shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: The desire of the wicked shall perish.

⁷⁰ He chose David also his servant, And took him from the sheepfolds:

⁷¹ From following the ewes that have their young he brought him, To be the shepherd of Jacob his people, and Israel his inheritance.

⁷² So he was their shepherd according to the integrity of his heart, And guided them by the skilfulness of his hands. Psalm 79 A Psalm of Asaph.

¹² So Jehovah blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: And he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she-asses.

⁹ For the eyes of Jehovah run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly; for from henceforth thou shalt have wars.

¹³ He shall build a house for my name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom for ever.

¹⁴ I will be his father, and he shall be my son: if he commit iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men;

¹⁵ but my lovingkindness shall not depart from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I put away before thee.

¹⁶ And thy house and thy kingdom shall be made sure for ever before thee: thy throne shall be established for ever.

⁴⁰ thou shalt be over my house, and according unto thy word shall all my people be ruled: only in the throne will I be greater than thou.

⁶ Hear us, my lord. Thou art a prince of God among us. In the choice of our sepulchres bury thy dead. None of us shall withhold from thee his sepulchre, but that thou mayest bury thy dead.
