²⁹ Out of whose womb came the ice? And the hoary frost of heaven, who hath gendered it?

¹⁶ He giveth snow like wool; He scattereth the hoar-frost like ashes.

¹⁷ He casteth forth his ice like morsels: Who can stand before his cold?

¹⁰ By the breath of God ice is given; And the breadth of the waters is straitened.

¹⁶ Which are black by reason of the ice, `And' wherein the snow hideth itself:

⁸ Or `who' shut up the sea with doors, When it brake forth, `as if' it had issued out of the womb;
