⁹ Or hast thou an arm like God? And canst thou thunder with a voice like him?

¹³ Thou hast a mighty arm; Strong is thy hand, and high is thy right hand.

⁴ After it a voice roareth; He thundereth with the voice of his majesty; And he restraineth not `the lightnings' when his voice is heard.

⁵ God thundereth marvellously with his voice; Great things doeth he, which we cannot comprehend.

²² Or do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? are we stronger than he?

⁹ Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! a potsherd among the potsherds of the earth! Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands?

¹⁰ Thou hast broken Rahab in pieces, as one that is slain; Thou hast scattered thine enemies with the arm of thy strength.

³ My heart was hot within me; While I was musing the fire burned: `Then' spake I with my tongue:

⁴ Jehovah, make me to know mine end, And the measure of my days, what it is; Let me know how frail I am.

⁵ Behold, thou hast made my days `as' handbreadths; And my life-time is as nothing before thee: Surely every man at his best estate is altogether vanity. Selah

⁶ Surely every man walketh in a vain show; Surely they are disquieted in vain: He heapeth up `riches', and knoweth not who shall gather them.

⁷ And now, Lord, what wait I for? My hope is in thee.

⁸ Deliver me from all my transgressions: Make me not the reproach of the foolish.

⁹ I was dumb, I opened not my mouth; Because thou didst it.

³ The voice of Jehovah is upon the waters: The God of glory thundereth, Even Jehovah upon many waters.

¹² Behold, I will answer thee, in this thou art not just; For God is greater than man.

¹³ Why dost thou strive against him, For that he giveth not account of any of his matters?

⁶ Would he contend with me in the greatness of his power? Nay; but he would give heed unto me.

⁴ `He is' wise in heart, and mighty in strength: Who hath hardened himself against him, and prospered?-

⁶ Thy right hand, O Jehovah, is glorious in power, Thy right hand, O Jehovah, dasheth in pieces the enemy.
