¹⁰ Shall not they teach thee, and tell thee, And utter words out of their heart?

⁷ and thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thy house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

⁴ By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, through which he had witness borne to him that he was righteous, God bearing witness in respect of his gifts: and through it he being dead yet speaketh.

³⁵ The good man out of his good treasure bringeth forth good things: and the evil man out of his evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.

¹⁵ The heart of the prudent getteth knowledge; And the ear of the wise seeketh knowledge.

²³ The heart of the wise instructeth his mouth, And addeth learning to his lips.

⁴ One generation shall laud thy works to another, And shall declare thy mighty acts.

⁷ I said, Days should speak, And multitude of years should teach wisdom.

⁷ But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee; And the birds of the heavens, and they shall tell thee:

⁸ Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee; And the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee.

¹⁹ And ye shall teach them your children, talking of them, when thou sittest in thy house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

¹ Therefore let us also, seeing we are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
