¹⁶ And Ehud made him a sword which had two edges, a cubit in length; and he girded it under his raiment upon his right thigh.

²¹ And Ehud put forth his left hand, and took the sword from his right thigh, and thrust it into his body:

³ Gird thy sword upon thy thigh, O mighty one, Thy glory and thy majesty.

⁶ `Let' the high praises of God `be' in their mouth, And a two-edged sword in their hand;

⁸ They all handle the sword, `and' are expert in war: Every man hath his sword upon his thigh, Because of fear in the night.

¹² For the word of God is living, and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and quick to discern the thoughts and intents of the heart.
