²¹ The river Kishon swept them away, That ancient river, the river Kishon. O my soul, march on with strength.

⁷ And I will draw unto thee, to the river Kishon, Sisera, the captain of Jabin's army, with his chariots and his multitude; and I will deliver him into thy hand.

⁵ Through thee will we push down our adversaries: Through thy name will we tread them under that rise up against us.

¹⁸ I have waited for thy salvation, O Jehovah.

¹³ And Sisera gathered together all his chariots, even nine hundred chariots of iron, and all the people that were with him, from Harosheth of the Gentiles, unto the river Kishon.

⁴⁰ and Elijah said unto them, Take the prophets of Baal; let not one of them escape. And they took them; and Elijah brought them down to the brook Kishon, and slew them there.

⁹ Do thou unto them as unto Midian, As to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the river Kishon;

¹⁰ Who perished at Endor, Who became as dung for the earth.

¹⁰ For in this mountain will the hand of Jehovah rest; and Moab shall be trodden down in his place, even as straw is trodden down in the water of the dung-hill.

¹⁰ Then mine enemy shall see it, and shame shall cover her who said unto me, Where is Jehovah thy God? Mine eyes shall see `my desire' upon her; now shall she be trodden down as the mire of the streets.
