⁵⁰ And he shall reckon with him that bought him from the year that he sold himself to him unto the year of jubilee: and the price of his sale shall be according unto the number of years; according to the time of a hired servant shall he be with him.

¹⁴ But now Jehovah hath spoken, saying, Within three years, as the years of a hireling, the glory of Moab shall be brought into contempt, with all his great multitude; and the remnant shall be very small and of no account.

¹⁶ For thus hath the Lord said unto me, Within a year, according to the years of a hireling, all the glory of Kedar shall fail;

⁴⁰ As a hired servant, and as a sojourner, he shall be with thee; he shall serve with thee unto the year of jubilee:

⁵³ As a servant hired year by year shall he be with him: he shall not rule with rigor over him in thy sight.

¹⁸ It shall not seem hard unto thee, when thou lettest him go free from thee; for to the double of the hire of a hireling hath he served thee six years: and Jehovah thy God will bless thee in all that thou doest.

¹ Is there not a warfare to man upon earth? And are not his days like the days of a hireling?

² As a servant that earnestly desireth the shadow, And as a hireling that looketh for his wages:

⁶ Look away from him, that he may rest, Till he shall accomplish, as a hireling, his day.
