28 And he said unto them, An enemy hath done this. And the servants say unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?

1 Corinthians 5:3-7

3 For I verily, being absent in body but present in spirit, have already as though I were present judged him that hath so wrought this thing,

Luke 9:49-54

49 And John answered and said, Master, we saw one casting out demons in thy name; and we forbade him, because he followeth not with us.

50 But Jesus said unto him, Forbid `him' not: for he that is not against you is for you.

51 And it came to pass, when the days were well-nigh come that he should be received up, he stedfastly set his face to go to Jerusalem,

52 and sent messengers before his face: and they went, and entered into a village of the Samaritans, to make ready for him.

53 And they did not receive him, because his face was `as though he were' going to Jerusalem.

54 And when his disciples James and John saw `this', they said, Lord, wilt thou that we bid fire to come down from heaven, and consume them?

2 Corinthians 2:6-11

6 Sufficient to such a one is this punishment which was `inflicted' by the many;

7 so that contrariwise ye should rather forgive him and comfort him, lest by any means such a one should be swallowed up with his overmuch sorrow.

8 Wherefore I beseech you to confirm `your' love toward him.

9 For to this end also did I write, that I might know the proof of you, whether ye are obedient in all things.

10 But to whom ye forgive anything, I `forgive' also: for what I also have forgiven, if I have forgiven anything, for your sakes `have I forgiven it' in the presence of Christ;

11 that no advantage may be gained over us by Satan: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

1 Thessalonians 5:14

14 And we exhort you, brethren, admonish the disorderly, encourage the fainthearted, support the weak, be longsuffering toward all.

Jude 1:22-23

22 And on some have mercy, who are in doubt;

23 and some save, snatching them out of the fire; and on some have mercy with fear; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.
