⁸ And I said unto them, We after our ability have redeemed our brethren the Jews, that were sold unto the nations; and would ye even sell your brethren, and should they be sold unto us? Then held they their peace, and found never a word.

⁴⁷ And if a stranger or sojourner with thee be waxed rich, and thy brother be waxed poor beside him, and sell himself unto the stranger `or' sojourner with thee, or to the stock of the stranger's family;

⁴⁸ after that he is sold he may be redeemed: one of his brethren may redeem him;

⁴⁹ or his uncle, or his uncle's son, may redeem him, or any that is nigh of kin unto him of his family may redeem him; or if he be waxed rich, he may redeem himself.

¹⁰ So then, as we have opportunity, let us work that which is good toward all men, and especially toward them that are of the household of the faith.

¹² For if the readiness is there, `it is' acceptable according as `a man' hath, not according as `he' hath not.

¹¹ For through thy knowledge he that is weak perisheth, the brother for whose sake Christ died.

¹⁵ For if because of meat thy brother is grieved, thou walkest no longer in love. Destroy not with thy meat him for whom Christ died.

¹⁹ Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it speaketh to them that are under the law; that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may be brought under the judgment of God:

²⁹ For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not, even that which he hath shall be taken away.

¹⁵ And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, to another one; to each according to his several ability; and he went on his journey.

¹² and he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding-garment? And he was speechless.

¹⁵ They are amazed, they answer no more: They have not a word to say.

¹⁰ The voice of the nobles was hushed, And their tongue cleaved to the roof of their mouth.

⁷ If a man be found stealing any of his brethren of the children of Israel, and he deal with him as a slave, or sell him; then that thief shall die: so shalt thou put away the evil from the midst of thee.

¹⁶ And he that stealeth a man, and selleth him, or if he be found in his hand, he shall surely be put to death.
