²⁴ Pleasant words are `as' a honeycomb, Sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.

¹³ My son, eat thou honey, for it is good; And the droppings of the honeycomb, which are sweet to thy taste:

¹⁴ So shalt thou know wisdom to be unto thy soul; If thou hast found it, then shall there be a reward, And thy hope shall not be cut off.

¹¹ A word fitly spoken Is `like' apples of gold in network of silver.

¹² `As' an ear-ring of gold, and an ornament of fine gold, `So is' a wise reprover upon an obedient ear.

²² For they are life unto those that find them, And health to all their flesh.

¹⁰³ How sweet are thy words unto my taste! `Yea, sweeter' than honey to my mouth!

¹⁰ More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold; Sweeter also than honey and the droppings of the honeycomb.

²⁶ Evil devices are an abomination to Jehovah; But pleasant words `are' pure.

²³ A man hath joy in the answer of his mouth; And a word in due season, how good is it!

¹⁸ There is that speaketh rashly like the piercings of a sword; But the tongue of the wise is health.

⁸ It will be health to thy navel, And marrow to thy bones.

¹⁹ When therefore it was evening, on that day, the first `day' of the week, and when the doors were shut where the disciples were, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace `be' unto you.

²⁰ And when he had said this, he showed unto them his hands and his side. The disciples therefore were glad, when they saw the Lord.

²¹ Jesus therefore said to them again, Peace `be' unto you: as the Father hath sent me, even so send I you.

¹⁶ Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy words were unto me a joy and the rejoicing of my heart: for I am called by thy name, O Jehovah, God of hosts.

¹¹ Thy lips, O `my' bride, drop `as' the honeycomb: Honey and milk are under thy tongue; And the smell of thy garments is like the smell of Lebanon.

⁹ Oil and perfume rejoice the heart; So doth the sweetness of a man's friend `that cometh' of hearty counsel.

¹⁶ Yea, my heart will rejoice, When thy lips speak right things.

² My doctrine shall drop as the rain; My speech shall distil as the dew, As the small rain upon the tender grass, And as the showers upon the herb.
