²³ The fear of Jehovah `tendeth' to life; And he `that hath it' shall abide satisfied; He shall not be visited with evil.

⁶ Blessed are they that hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

⁵ Be ye free from the love of money; content with such things as ye have: for himself hath said, I will in no wise fail thee, neither will I in any wise forsake thee.

⁶ So that with good courage we say, The Lord is my helper; I will not fear: What shall man do unto me?

¹⁴ Oh satisfy us in the morning with thy lovingkindness, That we may rejoice and be glad all our days.

²⁷ The fear of Jehovah prolongeth days; But the years of the wicked shall be shortened.

²⁶ In the fear of Jehovah is strong confidence; And his children shall have a place of refuge.

²⁷ The fear of Jehovah is a fountain of life, That one may depart from the snares of death.

¹¹ Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therein to be content.

¹² I know how to be abased, and I know also how to abound: in everything and in all things have I learned the secret both to be filled and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in want.

⁸ for bodily exercise is profitable for a little; but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life which now is, and of that which is to come.

⁶ But godliness with contentment is great gain:

⁷ for we brought nothing into the world, for neither can we carry anything out;

⁸ but having food and covering we shall be therewith content.

⁹ But they that are minded to be rich fall into a temptation and a snare and many foolish and hurtful lusts, such as drown men in destruction and perdition.

¹⁰ and if thou draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul: then shall thy light rise in darkness, and thine obscurity be as the noonday;

¹¹ and Jehovah will guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in dry places, and make strong thy bones; and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.

²¹ There shall no mischief happen to the righteous; But the wicked shall be filled with evil.

¹⁸ Jehovah is nigh unto all them that call upon him, To all that call upon him in truth.

¹⁹ He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him; He also will hear their cry and will save them.

²⁰ Jehovah preserveth all them that love him; But all the wicked will he destroy.

¹⁷ But the lovingkindness of Jehovah is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, And his righteousness unto children's children;

⁹ Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him, That glory may dwell in our land.

¹³ His soul shall dwell at ease; And his seed shall inherit the land.

⁹ Oh fear Jehovah, ye his saints; For there is no want to them that fear him.

¹⁰ The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger; But they that seek Jehovah shall not want any good thing.

¹¹ Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of Jehovah.

¹⁶ With long life will I satisfy him, And show him my salvation. Psalm 92 A Psalm, a Song for the sabbath day.

¹⁶ Then they that feared Jehovah spake one with another; and Jehovah hearkened, and heard, and a book of remembrance was written before him, for them that feared Jehovah, and that thought upon his name.

¹⁷ And they shall be mine, saith Jehovah of hosts, `even' mine own possession, in the day that I make; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.

² But unto you that fear my name shall the sun of righteousness arise with healing in its wings; and ye shall go forth, and gambol as calves of the stall.

³¹ So the church throughout all Judaea and Galilee and Samaria had peace, being edified; and, walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, was multiplied.

²⁸ And we know that to them that love God all things work together for good, `even' to them that are called according to `his' purpose.

¹⁸ The Lord will deliver me from every evil work, and will save me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom `be' the glory forever and ever. Amen.

¹⁸ Behold, the eye of Jehovah is upon them that fear him, Upon them that hope in his lovingkindness;

¹⁹ To deliver their soul from death, And to keep them alive in famine.

⁹ The fear of Jehovah is clean, enduring for ever: The ordinances of Jehovah are true, `and' righteous altogether.
