¹⁰ The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of wisdom; And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.

⁷ The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of knowledge; `But' the foolish despise wisdom and instruction.

²⁸ And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; And to depart from evil is understanding.

¹⁰ The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of wisdom; A good understanding have all they that do `his commandments': His praise endureth for ever.

¹³ `This is' the end of the matter; all hath been heard: fear God, and keep his commandments; for this is the whole `duty' of man.

³ And I have not learned wisdom, Neither have I the knowledge of the Holy One.

⁵ Then shalt thou understand the fear of Jehovah, And find the knowledge of God.

³ And this is life eternal, that they should know thee the only true God, and him whom thou didst send, `even' Jesus Christ.

⁹ And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind; for Jehovah searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever.

²⁰ And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, `even' in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

²⁷ All things have been delivered unto me of my Father: and no one knoweth the Son, save the Father; neither doth any know the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son willeth to reveal `him.'
