⁸⁴ How many are the days of thy servant? When wilt thou execute judgment on them that persecute me?

⁶ My days are swifter than a weaver's shuttle, And are spent without hope.

⁷ Oh remember that my life is a breath: Mine eye shall no more see good.

⁸ The eye of him that seeth me shall behold me no more; Thine eyes shall be upon me, but I shall not be.

⁶ Arise, O Jehovah, in thine anger; Lift up thyself against the rage of mine adversaries, And awake for me; thou hast commanded judgment.

⁴ Jehovah, make me to know mine end, And the measure of my days, what it is; Let me know how frail I am.

⁵ Behold, thou hast made my days `as' handbreadths; And my life-time is as nothing before thee: Surely every man at his best estate is altogether vanity. Selah

⁴⁷ Oh remember how short my time is: For what vanity hast thou created all the children of men!

⁴⁸ What man is he that shall live and not see death, That shall deliver his soul from the power of Sheol? Selah

¹² So teach us to number our days, That we may get us a heart of wisdom.

¹⁰ and they cried with a great voice, saying, How long, O Master, the holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?

¹¹ And there was given them to each one a white robe; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little time, until their fellow-servants also and their brethren, who should be killed even as they were, should have fulfilled `their course'.
