¹¹ For thy name's sake, O Jehovah, Pardon mine iniquity, for it is great.

⁹ Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of thy name; And deliver us, and forgive our sins, for thy name's sake.

³ For thou art my rock and my fortress; Therefore for thy name's sake lead me and guide me.

²⁵ I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake; and I will not remember thy sins.

²¹ But deal thou with me, O Jehovah the Lord, for thy name's sake: Because thy lovingkindness is good, deliver thou me;

¹² I write unto you, `my' little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name's sake.

²⁰ And the law came in besides, that the trespass might abound; but where sin abounded, grace did abound more exceedingly:

²¹ that, as sin reigned in death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

¹⁵ But not as the trespass, so also `is' the free gift. For if by the trespass of the one the many died, much more did the grace of God, and the gift by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, abound unto the many.

²² Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I do not `this' for your sake, O house of Israel, but for my holy name, which ye have profaned among the nations, whither ye went.

⁹ But I wrought for my name's sake, that it should not be profaned in the sight of the nations, among which they were, in whose sight I made myself known unto them, in bringing them forth out of the land of Egypt.

⁹ For my name's sake will I defer mine anger, and for my praise will I refrain for thee, that I cut thee not off.

¹¹ Quicken me, O Jehovah, for thy name's sake: In thy righteousness bring my soul out of trouble.

¹⁷ And now, I pray thee, let the power of the Lord be great, according as thou hast spoken, saying,

¹⁸ Jehovah is slow to anger, and abundant in lovingkindness, forgiving iniquity and transgression; and that will by no means clear `the guilty', visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, upon the third and upon the fourth generation.

¹⁹ Pardon, I pray thee, the iniquity of this people according unto the greatness of thy lovingkindness, and according as thou hast forgiven this people, from Egypt even until now.
