¹⁹ Consider mine enemies, for they are many; And they hate me with cruel hatred.

¹¹ And David said to Abishai, and to all his servants, Behold, my son, who came forth from my bowels, seeketh my life: how much more `may' this Benjamite now `do it'? let him alone, and let him curse; for Jehovah hath bidden him.

¹⁴ O God, the proud are risen up against me, And a company of violent men have sought after my soul, And have not set thee before them.

⁷ Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me; Thou wilt stretch forth thy hand against the wrath of mine enemies, And thy right hand will save me.

¹ Deliver me, O Jehovah, from the evil man; Preserve me from the violent man:

⁴ Keep me, O Jehovah, from the hands of the wicked; Preserve me from the violent man: Who have purposed to thrust aside my steps.

¹¹ An evil speaker shall not be established in the earth: Evil shall hunt the violent man to overthrow him.

³ For the enemy hath persecuted my soul; He hath smitten my life down to the ground: He hath made me to dwell in dark places, as those that have been long dead.

² And the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might put him to death; for they feared the people.

⁵ But they were the more urgent, saying, He stirreth up the people, teaching throughout all Judaea, and beginning from Galilee even unto this place.

⁴ My soul is among lions; I lie among them that are set on fire, Even the sons of men, whose teeth are spears and arrows, And their tongue a sharp sword.

² Mine enemies would swallow me up all the day long; For they are many that fight proudly against me.

² and I will come upon him while he is weary and weak-handed, and will make him afraid; and all the people that are with him shall flee; and I will smite the king only;

³ and I will bring back all the people unto thee: the man whom thou seekest is as if all returned: `so' all the people shall be in peace.

⁴ And the saying pleased Absalom well, and all the elders of Israel.

¹ Jehovah, how are mine adversaries increased! Many are they that rise up against me.

² Many there are that say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah

⁵ Jehovah trieth the righteous; But the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.

⁴⁸ He rescueth me from mine enemies; Yea, thou liftest me up above them that rise up against me; Thou deliverest me from the violent man.

² When evil-doers came upon me to eat up my flesh, `Even' mine adversaries and my foes, they stumbled and fell.

¹² Deliver me not over unto the will of mine adversaries: For false witnesses are risen up against me, And such as breathe out cruelty.

¹⁹ But mine enemies are lively, `and' are strong; And they that hate me wrongfully are multiplied.

² Thy tongue deviseth very wickedness, Like a sharp razor, working deceitfully.

²¹ but they shouted, saying, Crucify, crucify him.

²² And he said unto them the third time, Why, what evil hath this man done? I have found no cause of death in him: I will therefore chastise him and release him.

²³ But they were urgent with loud voices, asking that he might be crucified. And their voices prevailed.
