²⁰ Oh keep my soul, and deliver me: Let me not be put to shame, for I take refuge in thee.

⁸ Keep me as the apple of the eye; Hide me under the shadow of thy wings,

²⁰ Deliver my soul from the sword, My darling from the power of the dog.

²¹ Save me from the lion's mouth; Yea, from the horns of the wild-oxen thou hast answered me.

¹ In thee, O Jehovah, do I take refuge: Let me never be put to shame.

² Deliver me in thy righteousness, and rescue me: Bow down thine ear unto me, and save me.

² Preserve my soul; for I am godly: O thou my God, save thy servant that trusteth in thee.

⁷ Jehovah will keep thee from all evil; He will keep thy soul.

²⁶ And ye shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, and shall praise the name of Jehovah your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you; and my people shall never be put to shame.

²⁷ And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am Jehovah your God, and there is none else; and my people shall never be put to shame.

⁴⁶ And Jesus, crying with a loud voice, said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said this, he gave up the ghost.

⁵⁹ And they stoned Stephen, calling upon `the Lord', and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.
