⁶ I hate them that regard lying vanities; But I trust in Jehovah.

²⁰ But `I say', that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to demons, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have communion with demons.

⁸ They that regard lying vanities Forsake their own mercy.

⁵ I hate the assembly of evil-doers, And will not sit with the wicked.

⁴ Concerning therefore the eating of things sacrificed to idols, we know that no idol is `anything' in the world, and that there is no God but one.

²¹ because that, knowing God, they glorified him not as God, neither gave thanks; but became vain in their reasonings, and their senseless heart was darkened.

⁸ And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the ruler of the feast. And they bare it.

¹⁵ They are vanity, a work of delusion: in the time of their visitation they shall perish.

⁸ But they are together brutish and foolish: the instruction of idols! it is but a stock.

² Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising; Thou understandest my thought afar off.

⁷ Ascribe unto Jehovah, ye kindreds of the peoples, Ascribe unto Jehovah glory and strength.

⁸ Ascribe unto Jehovah the glory due unto his name: Bring an offering, and come into his courts.

⁹ Oh worship Jehovah in holy array: Tremble before him, all the earth.

⁴ He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; Who hath not lifted up his soul unto falsehood, And hath not sworn deceitfully.

²⁸ Ascribe unto Jehovah, ye kindreds of the peoples, Ascribe unto Jehovah glory and strength;

²⁹ Ascribe unto Jehovah the glory due unto his name: Bring an offering, and come before him: Worship Jehovah in holy array.
