¹² Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth lovingkindness; For thou renderest to every man according to his work. Psalm 63 A Psalm of David when he was in the wilderness of Judah.

¹¹ For the work of a man will he render unto him, And cause every man to find according to his ways.

²⁷ For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then shall he render unto every man according to his deeds.

⁸ Jehovah is merciful and gracious, Slow to anger, and abundant in lovingkindness.

¹⁵ But thou, O Lord, art a God merciful and gracious, Slow to anger, and abundant in lovingkindness and truth.

⁹ To the Lord our God belong mercies and forgiveness; for we have rebelled against him;

⁶ who will render to every man according to his works:

⁸ Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: but each shall receive his own reward according to his own labor.

¹² Behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to render to each man according as his work is.

¹⁷ And if ye call on him as Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to each man's work, pass the time of your sojourning in fear:

²⁵ For he that doeth wrong shall receive again for the wrong that he hath done: and there is no respect of persons.

⁸ knowing that whatsoever good thing each one doeth, the same shall he receive again from the Lord, whether `he be' bond or free.

¹⁰ For we must all be made manifest before the judgment-seat of Christ; that each one may receive the things `done' in the body, according to what he hath done, whether `it be' good or bad.

⁵ For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive, And abundant in lovingkindness unto all them that call upon thee.

¹⁷ But the lovingkindness of Jehovah is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, And his righteousness unto children's children;

¹² If thou sayest, Behold, we knew not this; Doth not he that weigheth the hearts consider it? And he that keepeth thy soul, doth not he know it? And shall not he render to every man according to his work?

¹⁹ great in counsel, and mighty in work; whose eyes are open upon all the ways of the sons of men, to give every one according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings:

²⁷ The king shall mourn, and the prince shall be clothed with desolation, and the hands of the people of the land shall be troubled: I will do unto them after their way, and according to their deserts will I judge them; and they shall know that I am Jehovah.

³⁰ Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord Jehovah. Return ye, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin.

²⁰ Yet ye say, The way of the Lord is not equal. O house of Israel, I will judge you every one after his ways.

¹⁸ O my God, incline thine ear, and hear; open thine eyes, and behold our desolations, and the city which is called by thy name: for we do not present our supplications before thee for our righteousness, but for thy great mercies' sake.

¹⁸ Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth over the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in lovingkindness.

⁶ And Jehovah passed by before him, and proclaimed, Jehovah, Jehovah, a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in lovingkindness and truth,

⁷ keeping lovingkindness for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin; and that will by no means clear `the guilty', visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, upon the third and upon the fourth generation.
