³ Be thou to me a rock of habitation, whereunto I may continually resort: Thou hast given commandment to save me; For thou art my rock and my fortress.

² Jehovah is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; My God, my rock, in whom I will take refuge; My shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower.

² Bow down thine ear unto me; deliver me speedily: Be thou to me a strong rock, A house of defence to save me.

³ For thou art my rock and my fortress; Therefore for thy name's sake lead me and guide me.

⁴ Thou art my King, O God: Command deliverance for Jacob.

² And I saw another angel ascend from the sunrising, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a great voice to the four angels to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea,

³ saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we shall have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads.

⁶ slay utterly the old man, the young man and the virgin, and little children and women; but come not near any man upon whom is the mark: and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the old men that were before the house.

¹⁶ He shall dwell on high; his place of defence shall be the munitions of rocks; his bread shall be given `him'; his waters shall be sure.

¹⁰ The name of Jehovah is a strong tower; The righteous runneth into it, and is safe.

² My lovingkindness, and my fortress, My high tower, and my deliverer; My shield, and he in whom I take refuge; Who subdueth my people under me.

¹¹ For he will give his angels charge over thee, To keep thee in all thy ways.

¹² They shall bear thee up in their hands, Lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

⁹ For thou, O Jehovah, art my refuge! Thou hast made the Most High thy habitation;

¹ He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

² I will say of Jehovah, He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in whom I trust.

¹ Lord, thou hast been our dwelling-place In all generations.

²⁸ Thy God hath commanded thy strength: Strengthen, O God, that which thou hast wrought for us.

⁸ `Yet' Jehovah will command his lovingkindness in the day-time; And in the night his song shall be with me, `Even' a prayer unto the God of my life.

²⁷ The eternal God is `thy' dwelling-place, And underneath are the everlasting arms. And he thrust out the enemy from before thee, And said, Destroy.
