⁶ That the generation to come might know `them', even the children that should be born; Who should arise and tell `them' to their children,

¹⁸ This shall be written for the generation to come; And a people which shall be created shall praise Jehovah.

³ Tell ye your children of it, and `let' your children `tell' their children, and their children another generation.

⁴ One generation shall laud thy works to another, And shall declare thy mighty acts.

¹⁶ Let thy work appear unto thy servants, And thy glory upon their children.

¹⁸ Yea, even when I am old and grayheaded, O God, forsake me not, Until I have declared thy strength unto `the next' generation, Thy might to every one that is to come.

¹³ Mark ye well her bulwarks; Consider her palaces: That ye may tell it to the generation following.

³¹ They shall come and shall declare his righteousness Unto a people that shall be born, that he hath done it. Psalm 23 A Psalm of David.

²⁸ and that these days should be remembered and kept throughout every generation, every family, every province, and every city; and that these days of Purim should not fail from among the Jews, nor the remembrance of them perish from their seed.

²⁴ and if we have not `rather' out of carefulness done this, `and' of purpose, saying, In time to come your children might speak unto our children, saying, What have ye to do with Jehovah, the God of Israel?

²⁵ for Jehovah hath made the Jordan a border between us and you, ye children of Reuben and children of Gad; ye have no portion in Jehovah: so might your children make our children cease from fearing Jehovah.

¹⁰ the day that thou stoodest before Jehovah thy God in Horeb, when Jehovah said unto me, Assemble me the people, and I will make them hear my words, that they may learn to fear me all the days that they live upon the earth, and that they may teach their children.
