¹³ Thy shoots are an orchard of pomegranates, with precious fruits; Henna with spikenard plants,

¹⁴ My beloved is unto me `as' a cluster of henna-flowers In the vineyards of En-gedi.

¹¹ I went down into the garden of nuts, To see the green plants of the valley, To see whether the vine budded, `And' the pomegranates were in flower.

⁵ I made me gardens and parks, and I planted trees in them of all kinds of fruit;

¹² While the king sat at his table, My spikenard sent forth its fragrance.

¹¹ being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are through Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.

¹ I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.

² Every branch in me that beareth not fruit, he taketh it away: and every `branch' that beareth fruit, he cleanseth it, that it may bear more fruit.

³ Already ye are clean because of the word which I have spoken unto you.

³ Mary therefore took a pound of ointment of pure nard, very precious, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair: and the house was filled with the odor of the ointment.

³ And while he was in Bethany in the house of Simon the leper, as he sat at meat, there came a woman having an alabaster cruse of ointment of pure nard very costly; `and' she brake the cruse, and poured it over his head.

¹¹ For as the earth bringeth forth its bud, and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord Jehovah will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.

²¹ Thy people also shall be all righteous; they shall inherit the land for ever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.

² I would lead thee, `and' bring thee into my mother's house, Who would instruct me; I would cause thee to drink of spiced wine, Of the juice of my pomegranate.

¹² Let us get up early to the vineyards; Let us see whether the vine hath budded, `And' its blossom is open, `And' the pomegranates are in flower: There will I give thee my love.

¹³ The mandrakes give forth fragrance; And at our doors are all manner of precious fruits, new and old, Which I have laid up for thee, O my beloved.

² My beloved is gone down to his garden, To the beds of spices, To feed in the gardens, and to gather lilies.

¹⁴ Spikenard and saffron, Calamus and cinnamon, with all trees of frankincense; Myrrh and aloes, with all the chief spices.

¹⁴ They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; They shall be full of sap and green:
