⁹ My dove, my undefiled, is `but' one; She is the only one of her mother; She is the choice one of her that bare her. The daughters saw her, and called her blessed; `Yea', the queens and the concubines, and they praised her.

² I was asleep, but my heart waked: It is the voice of my beloved that knocketh, `saying', Open to me, my sister, my love, my dove, my undefiled; For my head is filled with dew, My locks with the drops of the night.

¹⁴ O my dove, that art in the clefts of the rock, In the covert of the steep place, Let me see thy countenance, Let me hear thy voice; For sweet is thy voice, and thy countenance is comely.

⁹ And there came one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls, who were laden with the seven last plagues; and he spake with me, saying, Come hither, I will show thee the bride, the wife of the Lamb.

¹⁰ And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the holy city Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God,

¹⁰ when he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be marvelled at in all them that believed (because our testimony unto you was believed) in that day.

³ giving diligence to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

⁴ `There is' one body, and one Spirit, even as also ye were called in one hope of your calling;

⁵ one Lord, one faith, one baptism,

⁶ one God and Father of all, who is over all, and through all, and in all.

²⁶ But the Jerusalem that is above is free, which is our mother.

²⁸ Her children rise up, and call her blessed; Her husband `also', and he praiseth her, `saying':

²⁹ Many daughters have done worthily, But thou excellest them all.

² Then was our mouth filled with laughter, And our tongue with singing: Then said they among the nations, Jehovah hath done great things for them.

⁹ Kings' daughters are among thy honorable women: At thy right hand doth stand the queen in gold of Ophir.

²⁹ Happy art thou, O Israel: Who is like unto thee, a people saved by Jehovah, The shield of thy help, And the sword of thy excellency! And thine enemies shall submit themselves unto thee; And thou shalt tread upon their high places.

⁶ Keep therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the peoples, that shall hear all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.

⁷ For what great nation is there, that hath a god so nigh unto them, as Jehovah our God is whensoever we call upon him?

⁹ For from the top of the rocks I see him, And from the hills I behold him: lo, it is a people that dwelleth alone, And shall not be reckoned among the nations.

¹³ And Leah said, Happy am I! for the daughters will call me happy: and she called his name Asher.
