⁶ Train up a child in the way he should go, And even when he is old he will not depart from it.

¹⁶ Thine eyes did see mine unformed substance; And in thy book they were all written, `Even' the days that were ordained `for me', When as yet there was none of them.

¹⁴ But Jesus said, Suffer the little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for to such belongeth the kingdom of heaven.

³ Lo, children are a heritage of Jehovah; `And' the fruit of the womb is `his' reward.

⁴ As arrows in the hand of a mighty man, So are the children of youth.

⁵ Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: They shall not be put to shame, When they speak with their enemies in the gate. Psalm 128 A Song of Ascents.

² Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou established strength, Because of thine adversaries, That thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.

²¹ Fathers, provoke not your children, that they be not discouraged.

⁹ He maketh the barren woman to keep house, `And to be' a joyful mother of children. Praise ye Jehovah.
