¹³ If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, `and' the holy of Jehovah honorable; and shalt honor it, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking `thine own' words:

¹⁴ then shalt thou delight thyself in Jehovah; and I will make thee to ride upon the high places of the earth; and I will feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of Jehovah hath spoken it.

⁵ Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night, Nor for the arrow that flieth by day;

¹⁸ And thou shalt be secure, because there is hope; Yea, thou shalt search `about thee', and shalt take thy rest in safety.

¹⁹ Also thou shalt lie down, and none shall make thee afraid; Yea, many shall make suit unto thee.

²⁰ But the eyes of the wicked shall fail, And they shall have no way to flee; And their hope shall be the giving up of the ghost.

¹² The sleep of a laboring man is sweet, whether he eat little or much; but the fulness of the rich will not suffer him to sleep.

² He entereth into peace; they rest in their beds, each one that walketh in his uprightness.

²⁴ When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: Yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet.

² It is vain for you to rise up early, To take rest late, To eat the bread of toil; `For' so he giveth unto his beloved sleep.

⁵ I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for Jehovah sustaineth me.

⁹ There remaineth therefore a sabbath rest for the people of God.

¹⁰ For he that is entered into his rest hath himself also rested from his works, as God did from his.

¹¹ Let us therefore give diligence to enter into that rest, that no man fall after the same example of disobedience.

³¹ Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.
