²⁰ giving thanks always for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God, even the Father;

⁶ I went down to the bottoms of the mountains; The earth with its bars `closed' upon me for ever: Yet hast thou brought up my life from the pit, O Jehovah my God.

⁷ When my soul fainted within me, I remembered Jehovah; And my prayer came in unto thee, into thy holy temple.

⁸ They that regard lying vanities Forsake their own mercy.

¹ I will give thanks unto Jehovah with my whole heart; I will show forth all thy marvellous works.

² I will be glad and exult in thee; I will sing praise to thy name, O thou Most High.

³ When mine enemies turn back, They stumble and perish at thy presence.

¹ Praise ye Jehovah. Praise Jehovah, O my soul.

² While I live will I praise Jehovah: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being.

³ Put not your trust in princes, Nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.

⁷ How precious is thy lovingkindness, O God! And the children of men take refuge under the shadow of thy wings.

⁸ They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; And thou wilt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures.

⁹ For with thee is the fountain of life: In thy light shall we see light.

¹⁰ Oh continue thy lovingkindness unto them that know thee, And thy righteousness to the upright in heart.

¹⁵ Thanks be to God for his unspeakable gift.

³ Blessed `be' the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly `places' in Christ:

⁵⁸ O Lord, thou hast pleaded the causes of my soul; thou hast redeemed my life.

⁶ Let everything that hath breath praise Jehovah. Praise ye Jehovah.

³³ I will sing unto Jehovah as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have any being.

³⁴ Let thy meditation be sweet unto him: I will rejoice in Jehovah.

³⁵ Let sinners be consumed out of the earth. And let the wicked be no more. Bless Jehovah, O my soul. Praise ye Jehovah.

³ Know ye that Jehovah, he is God: It is he that hath made us, and we are his; We are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

⁴ Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, And into his courts with praise: Give thanks unto him, and bless his name.

¹³ who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the kingdom of the Son of his love;

¹⁴ in whom we have our redemption, the forgiveness of our sins:

¹⁵ who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation;

¹⁶ for in him were all things created, in the heavens and upon the earth, things visible and things invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers; all things have been created through him, and unto him;

¹⁷ and he is before all things, and in him all things consist.

¹⁸ And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
