^{2 Ref} For see! those who make war on you are out of control; your haters are lifting up their heads.

^{3 Ref} They have made wise designs against your people, talking together against those whom you keep in a secret place.

^{4 Ref} They have said, Come, let us put an end to them as a nation; so that the name of Israel may go out of man's memory.

^{5 Ref} For they have all come to an agreement; they are all joined together against you:

^{6 Ref} The tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites; Moab and the Hagarites;

^{7 Ref} Gebal and Ammon and Amalek; the Philistines and the people of Tyre;

^{8 Ref} Assur is joined with them; they have become the support of the children of Lot. (Selah.)

^{9 Ref} Do to them what you did to the Midianites; what you did to Sisera and Jabin, at the stream of Kishon:

^{10 Ref} Who came to destruction at En-dor; their bodies became dust and waste.

^{11 Ref} Make their chiefs like Oreb and Zeeb; and all their rulers like Zebah and Zalmunna:

^{12 Ref} Who have said, Let us take for our heritage the resting-place of God.

^{13 Ref} O my God, make them like the rolling dust; like dry stems before the wind.

^{14 Ref} As fire burning a wood, and as a flame causing fire on the mountains,

^{15 Ref} So go after them with your strong wind, and let them be full of fear because of your storm.

^{16 Ref} Let their faces be full of shame; so that they may give honour to your name, O Lord.

^{17 Ref} Let them be overcome and troubled for ever; let them be put to shame and come to destruction;

^{18 Ref} So that men may see that you only, whose name is Yahweh, are Most High over all the earth.

^{2 Ref} For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head.

^{3 Ref} They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones.

^{4 Ref} They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.

^{5 Ref} For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee:

^{6 Ref} The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; of Moab, and the Hagarenes;

^{7 Ref} Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre;

^{8 Ref} Assur also is joined with them: they have holpen the children of Lot. Selah.

^{9 Ref} Do unto them as unto the Midianites; as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the brook of Kison:

^{10 Ref} Which perished at Endor: they became as dung for the earth.

^{11 Ref} Make their nobles like Oreb, and like Zeeb: yea, all their princes as Zebah, and as Zalmunna:

^{12 Ref} Who said, Let us take to ourselves the houses of God in possession.

^{13 Ref} O my God, make them like a wheel; as the stubble before the wind.

^{14 Ref} As the fire burneth a wood, and as the flame setteth the mountains on fire;

^{15 Ref} So persecute them with thy tempest, and make them afraid with thy storm.

^{16 Ref} Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek thy name, O LORD.

^{17 Ref} Let them be confounded and troubled for ever; yea, let them be put to shame, and perish:

^{18 Ref} That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth.

^{2 Ref} For, behold, your enemies are stirred up. Those who hate you have lifted up their heads.

^{3 Ref} They conspire with cunning against your people. They plot against your cherished ones.

^{4 Ref} "Come," they say, "and let's destroy them as a nation, That the name of Israel may be remembered no more."

^{5 Ref} For they have conspired together with one mind. They form an alliance against you.

^{6 Ref} The tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites; Moab, and the Hagrites;

^{7 Ref} Gebal, Ammon, and Amalek; Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre;

^{8 Ref} Assyria also is joined with them. They have helped the children of Lot. Selah.

^{9 Ref} Do to them as you did to Midian, As to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the river Kishon;

^{10 Ref} Who perished at Endor, Who became as dung for the earth.

^{11 Ref} Make their nobles like Oreb and Zeeb; Yes, all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna;

^{12 Ref} Who said, "Let us take possession Of God's pasturelands."

^{13 Ref} My God, make them like tumbleweed; Like chaff before the wind.

^{14 Ref} As the fire that burns the forest, As the flame that sets the mountains on fire,

^{15 Ref} So pursue them with your tempest, And terrify them with your storm.

^{16 Ref} Fill their faces with confusion, That they may seek your name, Yahweh.

^{17 Ref} Let them be disappointed and dismayed forever. Yes, let them be confounded and perish;

^{18 Ref} That they may know that you alone, whose name is Yahweh, Are the Most High over all the earth.
