1 Ref O give praise to the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy is unchanging for ever.

2 Ref Let Israel now say, that his mercy is unchanging for ever.

3 Ref Let the house of Aaron now say, that his mercy is unchanging for ever.

4 Ref Let all worshippers of the Lord now say, that his mercy is unchanging for ever.

5 Ref I made my prayer to the Lord in my trouble: and the Lord gave me an answer, and put me in a wide place.

6 Ref The Lord is on my side; I will have no fear: what is man able to do to me?

7 Ref The Lord is my great helper: I will see my desire against my haters.

8 Ref It is better to have faith in the Lord than to put one's hope in man.

9 Ref It is better to have faith in the Lord than to put one's hope in rulers.

10 Ref All the nations have come round me; but in the name of the Lord I will have them cut down.

11 Ref They are round me, yes, they are all about me; but in the name of the Lord I will have them cut down.

12 Ref They are round me like bees; but they are put out like a fire among thorns; for in the name of the Lord I will have them cut down.

13 Ref I have been hard pushed by you, so that I might have a fall: but the Lord was my helper.

14 Ref The Lord is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation.

15 Ref The sound of joy and salvation is in the tents of the upright; the right hand of the Lord does works of power.

16 Ref The right hand of the Lord is lifted up; the right hand of the Lord does works of power.

17 Ref Life and not death will be my part, and I will give out the story of the works of the Lord.

18 Ref The hand of Jah has been hard on me; but he has not given me up to death.

19 Ref Let the doors of righteousness be open to me; I will go in and give praise to the Lord.

20 Ref This is the door of the Lord's house; the workers of righteousness will go in through it.

21 Ref I will give you praise, for you have given me an answer, and have become my salvation.

22 Ref The stone which the builders put on one side has become the chief stone of the building.

23 Ref This is the Lord's doing; it is a wonder in our eyes.

24 Ref This is the day which the Lord has made; we will be full of joy and delight in it.

25 Ref Send salvation now, O Lord; Lord, send us your blessing.

26 Ref A blessing be on him who comes in the name of the Lord; we give you blessing from the house of the Lord.

27 Ref The Lord is God, and he has given us light; let the holy dance be ordered with branches, even up to the horns of the altar.

28 Ref You are my God, and I will give you praise; my God, and I will give honour to your name.

5 Ref Out of my distress, I called on Yah. Yah answered me with freedom.

6 Ref Yahweh is on my side. I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?

7 Ref Yahweh is on my side among those who help me. Therefore I will look in triumph at those who hate me.

8 Ref It is better to take refuge in Yahweh, Than to put confidence in man.

9 Ref It is better to take refuge in Yahweh, Than to put confidence in princes.

10 Ref All the nations surrounded me, But in the name of Yahweh, I cut them off.

11 Ref They surrounded me, yes, they surrounded me. In the name of Yahweh I indeed cut them off.

12 Ref They surrounded me like bees. They are quenched like the burning thorns. In the name of Yahweh I cut them off.

13 Ref You pushed me back hard, to make me fall, But Yahweh helped me.

14 Ref Yah is my strength and song. He has become my salvation.

15 Ref The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tents of the righteous. "The right hand of Yahweh does valiantly.

16 Ref The right hand of Yahweh is exalted! The right hand of Yahweh does valiantly!"

17 Ref I will not die, but live, And declare Yah's works.

18 Ref Yah has punished me severely, But he has not given me over to death.

19 Ref Open to me the gates of righteousness. I will enter into them. I will give thanks to Yah.

20 Ref This is the gate of Yahweh; The righteous will enter into it.

21 Ref I will give thanks to you, for you have answered me, And have become my salvation.

22 Ref The stone which the builders rejected has become the head of the corner.

23 Ref This is Yahweh's doing. It is marvelous in our eyes.

24 Ref This is the day that Yahweh has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it!

25 Ref Save us now, we beg you, Yahweh; Yahweh, we beg you, now send prosperity.

26 Ref Blessed is he who comes in the name of Yahweh! We have blessed you out of the house of Yahweh.

27 Ref Yahweh is God, and he has given us light. Bind the sacrifice with cords, even to the horns of the altar.

28 Ref You are my God, and I will give thanks to you. You are my God, I will exalt you.
