1 Ref And Moses sent for all the children of Israel to come together, and said to them, This is what the Lord has said and these are his orders.

2 Ref Six days let work be done, but the seventh day is to be a holy day to you, a Sabbath of rest to the Lord; whoever does any work on that day is to be put to death.

3 Ref No fire is to be lighted in any of your houses on the Sabbath day.

4 Ref And Moses said to all the meeting of the children of Israel, This is the order which the Lord has given:

5 Ref Take from among you an offering to the Lord; everyone who has the impulse in his heart, let him give his offering to the Lord; gold and silver and brass;

6 Ref And blue and purple and red and the best linen and goats' hair,

7 And sheepskins coloured red, and leather, and hard wood,

8 Ref And oil for the lights, and spices for the holy oil and for the sweet perfumes for burning.

9 Ref And beryls and jewels to be cut for the ephod and for the priest's bag.

10 Ref And let every wise-hearted man among you come and make whatever has been ordered by the Lord;

11 Ref The House and its tent and its cover, its hooks and its boards, its rods and its pillars and its bases;

12 Ref The ark with its cover and its rods and the veil hanging before it;

13 Ref The table and its rods and all its vessels, and the holy bread;

14 Ref And the support for the lights, with its vessels and its lights and the oil for the light;

15 Ref And the altar for burning spices, with its rods, and the holy oil and the sweet perfume, and the curtain for the door, at the door of the House;

16 Ref The altar of burned offerings, with its network of brass, its rods, and all its vessels, the washing-vessel and its base;

17 Ref The hangings for the open space, its pillars and their bases, and the curtain for the doorway;

18 Ref The nails for the House, and the nails for the open space and their cords;

19 Ref The robes of needlework for the work of the holy place, the holy robes for Aaron the priest, and the robes for his sons when acting as priests.

20 And all the children of Israel went away from Moses.

21 Ref And everyone whose heart was moved, everyone who was guided by the impulse of his spirit, came with his offering for the Lord, for whatever was needed for the Tent of meeting and its work and for the holy robes.

22 Ref They came, men and women, all who were ready to give, and gave pins and nose-rings and finger-rings and neck-ornaments, all of gold; everyone gave an offering of gold to the Lord.

23 Ref And everyone who had blue and purple and red and the best linen and goats' hair and sheepskins coloured red and leather, gave them.

24 Ref Everyone who had silver and brass gave an offering of them to the Lord; and everyone who had hard wood, such as was needed for the work, gave it.

25 Ref And all the women who were expert with their hands, made cloth, and gave the work of their hands, blue and purple and red and the best linen.

26 Ref And those women who had the knowledge, made the goats' hair into cloth.

27 Ref And the rulers gave the beryls and the cut jewels for the ephod and the priest's bag;

28 Ref And the spice and the oil for the light, and the holy oil and the sweet perfumes.

29 Ref The children of Israel, every man and woman, from the impulse of their hearts, gave their offerings freely to the Lord for the work which the Lord had given Moses orders to have done.

30 Ref And Moses said to the children of Israel, See, the Lord has made selection of Bezalel, the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah;

31 Ref And he has made him full of the spirit of God, in all wisdom and knowledge and art of every sort;

32 As an expert designer of beautiful things, working in gold and silver and brass;

33 Trained in the cutting of stones and the ornamenting of wood and in every sort of handwork.

34 Ref And he has given to him, and to Oholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, the power of training others.

35 Ref To them he has given knowledge of all the arts of the handworker, of the designer, and the expert workman; of the maker of needlework in blue and purple and red and the best linen, and of the maker of cloth; in all the arts of the designer and the trained workman they are expert.

Young's Literal Translation (YLT)

1 Ref And Moses assembleth all the company of the sons of Israel, and saith unto them, `These `are' the things which Jehovah hath commanded -- to do them:

2 Ref Six days is work done, and on the seventh day there is to you a holy `day', a sabbath of rest to Jehovah; any who doeth work in it is put to death;

3 Ref ye do not burn a fire in any of your dwellings on the sabbath-day.'

4 Ref And Moses speaketh unto all the company of the sons of Israel, saying, `This `is' the thing which Jehovah hath commanded, saying,

5 Ref Take ye from among you a heave-offering to Jehovah; every one whose heart `is' willing doth bring it, -- the heave-offering of Jehovah, -- gold, and silver, and brass,

6 Ref and blue, and purple, and scarlet, and linen, and goats' `hair',

7 and rams' skins made red, and badgers' skins, and shittim wood,

8 Ref and oil for the light, and spices for the anointing oil, and for the spice perfume,

9 Ref and shoham stones, and stones for settings, for an ephod, and for a breastplate.

10 Ref `And all the wise-hearted among you come in, and make all that Jehovah hath commanded:

11 Ref `The tabernacle, its tent, and its covering, its hooks, and its boards, its bars, its pillars, and its sockets,

12 Ref `The ark and its staves, the mercy-seat, and the vail of the covering,

13 Ref `The table and its staves, and all its vessels, and the bread of the presence,

14 Ref `And the candlestick for the light, and its vessels, and its lamps, and the oil for the light,

15 Ref `And the altar of perfume, and its staves, and the anointing oil, and the spice perfume, and the covering of the opening at the opening of the tabernacle,

16 Ref `The altar of burnt-offering and the brazen grate which it hath, its staves, and all its vessels, the laver and its base,

17 Ref `The hangings of the court, its pillars, and their sockets, and the covering of the gate of the court,

18 Ref `The pins of the tabernacle, and the pins of the court, and their cords,

19 Ref `The coloured garments, to do service in the sanctuary, the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons to act as priest in.'

20 And all the company of the sons of Israel go out from the presence of Moses,

21 Ref and they come in -- every man whom his heart hath lifted up, and every one whom his spirit hath made willing -- they have brought in the heave-offering of Jehovah for the work of the tent of meeting, and for all its service, and for the holy garments.

22 Ref And they come in -- the men with the women -- every willing-hearted one -- they have brought in nose-ring, and ear-ring, and seal-ring, and necklace, all golden goods, even every one who hath waved a wave-offering of gold to Jehovah.

23 Ref And every man with whom hath been found blue, and purple, and scarlet, and linen, and goats' `hair', and rams' skins made red, and badgers' skins, have brought `them' in;

24 Ref every one lifting up a heave-offering of silver and brass have brought in the heave-offering of Jehovah; and every one with whom hath been found shittim wood for any work of the service brought `it' in.

25 Ref And every wise-hearted woman hath spun with her hands, and they bring in yarn, the blue, and the purple, the scarlet, and the linen;

26 Ref and all the women whose heart hath lifted them up in wisdom, have spun the goats' `hair'.

27 Ref And the princes have brought in the shoham stones, and the stones for settings, for the ephod, and for the breastplate,

28 Ref and the spices, and the oil for the light, and for the anointing oil, and for the spice perfume;

29 Ref every man and woman (whom their heart hath made willing to bring in for all the work which Jehovah commanded to be done by the hand of Moses) `of' the sons of Israel brought in a willing-offering to Jehovah.

30 Ref And Moses saith unto the sons of Israel, `See, Jehovah hath called by name Bezaleel, son of Uri, son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah,

31 Ref and He doth fill him `with' the Spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all work,

32 even to devise devices to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass,

33 and in graving of stones for settings, and in graving of wood to work in any work of design.

34 Ref `And to direct He hath put in his heart, he and Aholiab, son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan;

35 Ref He hath filled them with wisdom of heart to do every work, of engraver, and designer, and embroiderer (in blue, and in purple, in scarlet, and in linen), and weaver, who do any work, and of designers of designs.

1 Ref And Moses assembled all the congregation of the children of Israel, and said unto them, These are the words which Jehovah hath commanded, that ye should do them.

2 Ref Six days shall work be done; but on the seventh day there shall be to you a holy day, a sabbath of solemn rest to Jehovah: whosoever doeth any work therein shall be put to death.

3 Ref Ye shall kindle no fire throughout your habitations upon the sabbath day.

4 Ref And Moses spake unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, saying, This is the thing which Jehovah commanded, saying,

5 Ref Take ye from among you an offering unto Jehovah; whosoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it, Jehovah's offering: gold, and silver, and brass,

6 Ref and blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats' `hair',

7 and rams' skins dyed red, and sealskins, and acacia wood,

8 Ref and oil for the light, and spices for the anointing oil, and for the sweet incense,

9 Ref and onyx stones, and stones to be set, for the ephod, and for the breastplate.

10 Ref And let every wise-hearted man among you come, and make all that Jehovah hath commanded:

11 Ref the tabernacle, its tent, and its covering, its clasps, and its boards, its bars, its pillars, and its sockets;

12 Ref the ark, and the staves thereof, the mercy-seat, and the veil of the screen;

13 Ref the table, and its staves, and all its vessels, and the showbread;

14 Ref the candlestick also for the light, and its vessels, and its lamps, and the oil for the light;

15 Ref and the altar of incense, and its staves, and the anointing oil, and the sweet incense, and the screen for the door, at the door of the tabernacle;

16 Ref the altar of burnt-offering, with its grating of brass, it staves, and all its vessels, the laver and its base;

17 Ref the hangings of the court, the pillars thereof, and their sockets, and the screen for the gate of the court;

18 Ref the pins of the tabernacle, and the pins of the court, and their cords;

19 Ref the finely wrought garments, for ministering in the holy place, the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons, to minister in the priest's office.

20 And all the congregation of the children of Israel departed from the presence of Moses.

21 Ref And they came, every one whose heart stirred him up, and every one whom his spirit made willing, `and' brought Jehovah's offering, for the work of the tent of meeting, and for all the service thereof, and for the holy garments.

22 Ref And they came, both men and women, as many as were willing-hearted, `and' brought brooches, and ear-rings, and signet-rings, and armlets, all jewels of gold; even every man that offered an offering of gold unto Jehovah.

23 Ref And every man, with whom was found blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats' `hair', and rams' skins dyed red, and sealskins, brought them.

24 Ref Every one that did offer an offering of silver and brass brought Jehovah's offering; and every man, with whom was found acacia wood for any work of the service, brought it.

25 Ref And all the women that were wise-hearted did spin with their hands, and brought that which they had spun, the blue, and the purple, the scarlet, and the fine linen.

26 Ref And all the women whose heart stirred them up in wisdom spun the goats' `hair'.

27 Ref And the rulers brought the onyx stones, and the stones to be set, for the ephod, and for the breastplate;

28 Ref and the spice, and the oil; for the light, and for the anointing oil, and for the sweet incense.

29 Ref The children of Israel brought a freewill-offering unto Jehovah; every man and woman, whose heart made them willing to bring for all the work, which Jehovah had commanded to be made by Moses.

30 Ref And Moses said unto the children of Israel, See, Jehovah hath called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah.

31 Ref And he hath filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship;

32 and to devise skilful works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass,

33 and in cutting of stones for setting, and in carving of wood, to work in all manner of skilful workmanship.

34 Ref And he hath put in his heart that he may teach, both he, and Oholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan.

35 Ref Them hath he filled with wisdom of heart, to work all manner of workmanship, of the engraver, and of the skilful workman, and of the embroiderer, in blue, and in purple, in scarlet, and in fine linen, and of the weaver, even of them that do any workmanship, and of those that devise skilful works.
