^{1 Ref} Let the Lord be praised. O you servants of the Lord, give praise to the name of the Lord.

^{2 Ref} Let blessing be on the name of the Lord, from this time and for ever.

^{3 Ref} From the coming up of the sun to its going down, the Lord's name is to be praised.

^{4 Ref} The Lord is high over all nations, and his glory is higher than the heavens.

^{5 Ref} Who is like the Lord our God, who is seated on high,

^{6 Ref} Looking down on the heavens, and on the earth?

^{7 Ref} He takes the poor man out of the dust, lifting him up from his low position;

^{8 Ref} To give him a place among the rulers, even with the rulers of his people.

^{9 Ref} He gives the unfertile woman a family, making her a happy mother of children. Give praise to the Lord.

^{1 Ref} Praise ye Jah! Praise, ye servants of Jehovah. Praise the name of Jehovah.

^{2 Ref} The name of Jehovah is blessed, From henceforth, and unto the age.

^{3 Ref} From the rising of the sun unto its going in, Praised `is' the name of Jehovah.

^{4 Ref} High above all nations `is' Jehovah, Above the heavens `is' his honour.

^{5 Ref} Who `is' as Jehovah our God, He is exalting `Himself' to sit?

^{6 Ref} He is humbling `Himself' to look On the heavens and on the earth.

^{7 Ref} He is raising up from the dust the poor, From a dunghill He exalteth the needy.

^{8 Ref} To cause to sit with princes, With the princes of His people.

^{9 Ref} Causing the barren one of the house to sit, A joyful mother of sons; praise ye Jah!

^{9 Ref} He settles the barren woman in her home, As a joyful mother of children. Praise Yah!
