Mark 5
King James Version (KJV)
38 Ref And he cometh to the house of the ruler of the synagogue, and seeth the tumult, and them that wept and wailed greatly.
39 Ref And when he was come in, he saith unto them, Why make ye this ado, and weep? the damsel is not dead, but sleepeth.
40 Ref And they laughed him to scorn. But when he had put them all out, he taketh the father and the mother of the damsel, and them that were with him, and entereth in where the damsel was lying.
41 Ref And he took the damsel by the hand, and said unto her, Talitha cumi; which is, being interpreted, Damsel, I say unto thee, arise.
42 Ref And straightway the damsel arose, and walked; for she was of the age of twelve years. And they were astonished with a great astonishment.
43 Ref And he charged them straitly that no man should know it; and commanded that something should be given her to eat.

39 Ref When he had entered in, he said to them, "Why do you make an uproar and weep? The child is not dead, but is asleep."
40 Ref They ridiculed him. But he, having put them all out, took the father of the child and her mother and those who were with him, and went in where the child was lying.
41 Ref Taking the child by the hand, he said to her, "Talitha cumi;" which means, being interpreted, "Girl, I tell you, get up."
42 Ref Immediately the girl rose up, and walked, for she was twelve years old. They were amazed with great amazement.
43 Ref He strictly ordered them that no one should know this, and commanded that something should be given to her to eat.
