^{1 Ref} Whoredom is actually heard of among you, and such whoredom as is not even named among the nations -- as that one hath the wife of the father! --

^{2 Ref} and ye are having been puffed up, and did not rather mourn, that he may be removed out of the midst of you who did this work,

^{3 Ref} for I indeed, as being absent as to the body, and present as to the spirit, have already judged, as being present, him who so wrought this thing:

^{4 Ref} in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ -- ye being gathered together, also my spirit -- with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,

^{5 Ref} to deliver up such a one to the Adversary for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

^{6 Ref} Not good `is' your glorying; have ye not known that a little leaven the whole lump doth leaven?

^{7 Ref} cleanse out, therefore, the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, according as ye are unleavened, for also our passover for us was sacrificed -- Christ,

^{8 Ref} so that we may keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of evil and wickedness, but with unleavened food of sincerity and truth.

^{9 Ref} I did write to you in the epistle, not to keep company with whoremongers --

^{10 Ref} and not certainly with the whoremongers of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or idolaters, seeing ye ought then to go forth out of the world --

^{11 Ref} and now, I did write to you not to keep company with `him', if any one, being named a brother, may be a whoremonger, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner -- with such a one not even to eat together;

^{12 Ref} for what have I also those without to judge? those within do ye not judge?

^{13 Ref} and those without God doth judge; and put ye away the evil from among yourselves.

^{9 Ref} I wrote unto you in my epistle to have no company with fornicators;

^{10 Ref} not at all `meaning' with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous and extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world:

^{11 Ref} but as it is, I wrote unto you not to keep company, if any man that is named a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such a one no, not to eat.

^{12 Ref} For what have I to do with judging them that are without? Do not ye judge them that are within?

^{13 Ref} But them that are without God judgeth. Put away the wicked man from among yourselves.

^{3 Ref} For I most assuredly, as being absent in body but present in spirit, have already, as though I were present, judged him who has done this thing.

^{4 Ref} In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, you being gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,

^{5 Ref} are to deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

^{6 Ref} Your boasting is not good. Don't you know that a little yeast leavens the whole lump?

^{7 Ref} Purge out the old yeast, that you may be a new lump, even as you are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, has been sacrificed in our place.

^{8 Ref} Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old yeast, neither with the yeast of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

^{9 Ref} I wrote to you in my letter to have no company with sexual sinners;

^{10 Ref} yet not at all meaning with the sexual sinners of this world, or with the covetous and extortioners, or with idolaters; for then you would have to leave the world.

^{11 Ref} But as it is, I wrote to you not to associate with anyone who is called a brother who is a sexual sinner, or covetous, or an idolater, or a slanderer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner. Don't even eat with such a person.

^{12 Ref} For what have I to do with also judging those who are outside? Don't you judge those who are within?

^{13 Ref} But those who are outside, God judges. "Put away the wicked man from among yourselves."
